An effort to calm the security situation during Ramadan

The meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and King Abdullah of Jordan marks the opening of a new page in relations between the two countries and a joint effort to calm the security situation ahead of the month of Ramadan.
The two leaders fear the destabilization of the region and Netanyahu promised the Jordanian king not to change the status quo on the Temple Mount and Jordan’s status on the holy site.
