Israel and the PA reached an understanding, with American mediation, on a temporary freeze on the settlements in an attempt to prevent a security escalation ahead of Ramadan.
The Biden administration is satisfied, but there is great doubt whether the understandings between Israel and the PA will lead to an end of terrorism.
