Israel increased its attacks on Iranian and Hezbollah targets in Syria to prevent the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah and as part of the response to the attack at the Megiddo Junction.
In one of the attacks, a senior Iranian military advisor was killed and Israel fears Iranian revenge and attacks on the Israeli ships in the Arabian Sea.
