Hezbollah is working to elect a “puppet” president in Lebanon

Hezbollah is pushing for the election of Suleiman Faranjiya as the next president of Lebanon, Iran is putting pressure on Saudi Arabia to support Faranjiya’s candidacy for president.
Franjiya is very close to President Bashar al-Assad and in Lebanon they fear that his election as president will strengthen Iranian hegemony in Lebanon and the entire region.
