Syria’s return to the Arab League legitimizes President Bashar Assad, who committed war crimes against his own people, and endangers Israel’s interests.
Syria represents the interests of Iran, which is becoming a nuclear threshold state which may provide a protective umbrella to the “axis of resistance” that is planning to destroy Israel.
