The Bloody Conflict in the Ein Al-Hilwe Refugee Camp in Lebanon

A temporary ceasefire has been reached in the Ein al-Hilwe refugee camp after several days of violent clashes between activists of the Fatah movement and jihadist Islamic elements. The fighting erupted in Lebanon when the Palestinian Authority (PA) attempted to increase its influence within these refugee camps, seeking to garner support for Mahmoud Abbas.
