Hamas is repositioning itself as the protector of al-Aqsa

Hamas managed in the last two days to ride again the wave of violence on the Temple Mount and position itself as the defender of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas is not interested in a new round of fighting with Israel on the border of the Gaza Strip, it is trying to bring about the opening of additional fronts against Israel without the residents of the Gaza Strip paying a high price for it.
