Prospects of a Normalization Agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia

President Biden is giving serious consideration to the potential of a security agreement between the US and Saudi Arabia that would also include a normalization pact between Israel and Saudi Arabia. However, such an agreement would require Israel to make significant progress in negotiations with the Palestinians and work towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. The current right-wing government in Israel faces challenges in accepting these conditions.
