Hussein al-Sheikh Aims for Deputy Role Under Mahmoud Abbas

As the eighth conference of the Fatah movement approaches in approximately two months, Hussein al-Sheikh, the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the PLO, is actively working to secure the position of deputy to Mahmoud Abbas. Amidst the escalating succession battle within the PA Hussein al-Sheikh is also striving to garner regional support for his proposed appointment.
