The “Lions’ Den” group has become a threat to the PA as well

The activity of the "Lions' Den" group in the city of Nablus is of great concern to the chairman of the PA, Abu Mazen, because it challenges his rule. The group's influence on the Palestinian street is increasing and it is harming the PA position.

The current hero of the Palestinians is the terrorist Udai al-Tamimi who carried out the murderous attack at the Shoafat checkpoint, who was killed while trying to carry out another shooting attack at the entrance to the settlement of Maale Ha’Adumim.

The quick and successful action of the security guards at the entrance to the settlement covers up the failure of the Shin Bet, the police and the IDF who were unable to locate the terrorist for 10 days, it turns out that he managed to get out of the Shoafat refugee camp, the Hamas organization claims that the terrorist belongs to its ranks and in the West Bank a general strike was announced today as a sign of mourning on his death.

The killing of the terrorist is an important step in suppressing the terrorist organizations’ efforts to create a new armed intifada in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The East Jerusalem street embraced him and dozens of young people began to shave their heads as a sign of identification with the bald terrorist and to make the search for him more difficult.

In the meantime, the Palestinian Authority is very concerned about the recent activity of the ” Lions’ Den” group in Nablus and its effect on the Palestinian street, this week the group called on the residents of Nablus to carry weapons, go on the roofs of the houses, go out into the streets and mosques and prepare for violent confrontations, it feared that large forces of the IDF would enter the city Nablus and they will kill its members.

The “Lions’ Den” group is beginning to gain legitimacy and is encouraging the Palestinian street to an armed struggle against Israel something which, in the eyes of PA Chairman Abu Mazen, could lead to a great disaster for the Palestinians.

The popular support for the activities of this group is further eroding the PA’s precarious position on the Palestinian street.

However, the PA chairman does not have the political courage to enter into a frontal military confrontation with the “Lions’ Den” group, even though the PA’s security forces can eliminate it, and this is out of fear that this will lead to civil war.
