Iran has decided to assassinate senior officials of the Israeli Mossad

Iran plans to assassinate current and former Israeli Mossad officials in retaliation for a series of actions attributed to the organization on Iranian soil and in Syria. The security establishment must take precautions following the intelligence alerts, especially former Mossad heads who have become businessmen and often travel abroad should be careful.

The defense establishment is very concerned about the intelligence information that came from reliable sources last week that Iran is planning to physically harm senior officials of the defense establishment and especially senior officials of the Israeli Mossad in retaliation for actions attributed to the Israeli Mossad.

The latest action attributed to the Israeli Mossad against Iran is the assassination in Syria last week of Colonel Daoud Jaafari, a senior member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards issued an official statement in which they accused Israel of killing Daoud Jaafari, who was a senior member of the organization’s air force, using a powerful explosive device that was placed near his car while he was driving in Damascus.

Along with him, his personal security guard who was with him in the car he was traveling in was killed.

Colonel Daoud Jaafari was, according to security sources in Israel, one of Iran’s military advisers in Syria, but he was secretly involved in coordinating the transfer of arms shipments from Iran to Hezbollah in Lebanon through Syria and was a senior member of the Iranian UAV production system.

Israel neither confirmed nor denied its responsibility for the assassination of Jaafari, but the Revolutionary Guards promised revenge and that “the Zionist enemy would pay the price”.

Iran accuses the Israeli Mossad of a series of assassinations of senior Iranians: with the Mossad’s assistance to the US military in assassinating General Qassem Soleimani, the assassination of Mohsen Fakhri Zade, the head of the Iranian nuclear program and the assassination of nuclear scientists and senior officers in the Revolutionary Guards, not to mention the successful operation of stealing the Iranian nuclear archive from Tehran by Mossad agents.

Iran is very concerned about Israeli intelligence infiltration into the Revolutionary Guards and suspects that the Israeli Mossad managed to recruit senior Iranian officers to spy for it.

Recently, Iran claims that the Israeli Mossad together with the CIA are behind the “Hijab protest” in Iran.
The Iranians are convinced that the US and Israel are working to replace the regime in their country and that they are militarily supporting the Kurdish minority and the Baluchi minority in Iran who are taking a very active part in the “Hijab protest”.

It is not impossible that the suicide drone attack about two weeks ago on the Israeli-owned tanker in the Gulf of Oman It is part of the Iranian response to the actions it attributes to the Israeli Mossad.

But now the Iranian effort is focused on planning to assassinate senior officials of the Israeli Mossad in Israel and abroad who are in active service as well as those who have retired.

In March of this year, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards sent a warning message to the head of the Mossad, David Barnea, that his life was in danger through a video revealing personal and embarrassing details about him.

The video contained photographs of the head of the Mossad, a photograph of his home in the center of the country, plane tickets he purchased, a photocopy of his identity card and more.

It is likely that the head of the Mossad and his officials have already begun to take precautionary measures following the intelligence alert, those who need to be especially careful are the former Mossad officials who have become businessmen and often travel abroad Like Yossi Cohen, Tamir Pardo and Danny Yatom.

Iranian intelligence must not be underestimated, it has operational capabilities abroad as well as in Israel itself, and it can certainly recruit Palestinians from in the West Bank through Hamas or Islamic Jihad to try and harm the senior officials of the Mossad within the territory of Israel itself.
