An attempt to attack Israel from several fronts

The axis of resistance led by Iran succeeded in bringing about an escalation in East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and is being prepared for continued escalation against Israel from several fronts. The incitement against Israel focuses on what happened at the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, Hamas attacked Israel with rockets and the security establishment is also prepared for the possibility of attacks on the northern border.

The writing was on the wall, the terrorist axis led by Iran planned this for several months, a security escalation during the month of Ramadan and Passover and to bring about attacks on Israel from several fronts.

This move is compatible between the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and the Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad organizations.

Hezbollah’s terrorist attack at the Megiddo Junction was intended to result in a large number of Israeli casualties and create security chaos in Israel, in order to encourage terrorist attacks by the Palestinian organizations.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards planned to attack Israel from Syrian territory using drones.

The Hezbollah attack at the Megiddo junction failed, the attempt to attack Israel using a drone that penetrated from Syrian territory into the Kinneret area was also thwarted by the IDF, Israel intensively attacked for several days targets of the Iranian militias and Hezbollah in Syrian territory, it hit the drone manufacturing plant of Hizbullah and shipments of advanced weapons that Iran smuggled to Syria for Hizbullah.

The effort of the axis of evil led by Iran will focus on the Temple Mount in the coming days, and it will try to incite the Palestinians to escalate the security situation with the false claim that Israel is trying to damage the Al-Aqsa Mosque and change the status quo there.

The Palestinian incitement that focused on the Al-Aqsa Mosque was successful, this is the reason to the violent events that erupted last night on the Temple Mount after several hundred young people barricaded themselves inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque and attacked the police forces with stones and fireworks.

They responded to the inciting calls of the Hamas organization which called on the Palestinians to come to the Temple Mount to prevent Jews from entering the Temple Mount and making sacrifices there on the occasion of Passover.

The Jerusalem police acted effectively, they evacuated about 300 worshipers who had barricaded themselves on the Temple Mount and arrested dozens of rioters who attacked police officers.

The events on the Temple Mount resulted in Hamas launching 10 rockets at Israel, the IDF responded by attacking Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Egypt, Jordan and Qatar are holding intensive talks with Israel and Hamas to try and prevent a more serious security deterioration, but in the security establishment they fear that the escalation will continue according to the Iranian plan to bring about an attack on Israel from several fronts, from the Gaza Strip, from southern Lebanon, from Syria and possibly even from Yemen through the Houthi rebels who are loyal to Iran.

The Palestinians will try to increase the terrorist attacks against Israel in the coming days, the Israeli Shin Bet managed to thwart many attacks in recent weeks, the head of the Shin Bet Ronen Bar said that since the beginning of the year, the Shin Bet has foiled 200 serious attacks, 150 of which were shooting attacks.

The leaders of Hamas have warned in recent weeks that Jerusalem will be at the center of events during the month of Ramadan and openly called for a new intifada against Israel, they have now succeeded in bringing about an escalation on the Temple Mount and this is a very big security challenge for the Israeli security establishment which has been preparing for a major escalation for several weeks now.

The resistance axis led by Iran is trying to activate during the month of Ramadan the strategy of uniting the fronts which it first started in May 2021 (“Operation “Guardian of the Walls”).

Hamas officials say that the events on the Temple Mount reflect the failure of the security meetings held in Aqaba and Sharm el-Sheikh in preparation for the month of Ramadan to prevent violence and terrorism and that this is another failure of the Palestinian Authority and Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamas is not interested in a new military escalation on the border of the Gaza Strip against Israel, it has a lot to lose financially, but it is trying to set fire to the territories of Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem and to give support to terrorist actions from time to time through rocket barrages towards Israel without leading to an all-out war on the border of the Gaza Strip.

It is very important for Hamas to position itself as the main defender of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It is difficult to assess where things are headed, but it seems that the axis of resistance led by Iran is sticking to its plan to continue the security escalation against Israel in order to bring about a new intifada breaking out in the West Bank and attacks on Israel from several fronts according to the doctrine of General Qasem Soleimani to tighten the stranglehold around Israel.
