The IDF’s War in the Gaza Strip is Actually Against Iran

For many years, Iran has helped Hamas and Islamic Jihad build a regular army and military outposts in the Gaza Strip to attack Israel. The Biden administration is working to end the war before the task of completely destroying the military infrastructure that threatens Israel's existence is completed. The political echelon must stick to this task.

The IDF’s war in the Gaza Strip must end with the complete elimination of the military power of the terrorist organizations, led by Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

In recent years, the Gaza Strip has become Iran’s forward stronghold for attacks on Israel with rockets and drones.

This is part of a multi-arena strategy devised by General Qasem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, together with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In 2012, a year after Yahya Sinwar was released from Israeli prison as part of the Shalit deal, he visited Tehran and was hosted by Qassem Soleimani.

According to sources in Hamas, good chemistry was immediately created between them, resulting in an agreement on the need to eliminate the State of Israel.

Qassem Soleimani recognized the potential in Yahya Sinwar and decided to support him and the military arm of Hamas with funds and weapons to establish the largest Iranian-Hamas military outpost in the Gaza Strip.

By 2017, Yahya Sinwar was elected leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and began to seriously promote Iran’s military plans.

The criminal attack and massacre by Hamas in the settlements surrounding Gaza on October 7 marked the beginning of the implementation of Soleimani’s strategy by Sinwar.

Therefore, Israel must not stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

President Biden makes a bitter mistake by putting heavy pressure on Israel to stop the war due to his electoral considerations.

Israel cannot accept the presence of Iran’s military strongholds on its border, as they pose an existential threat to its security.

Yahya Sinwar used Iranian money to build a regular Hamas army and planned his invasion and occupation of Israel.

With funds later received from Qatar, he built the tunnel project.

Iran does not intend to give up its military outpost in the Gaza Strip.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has assured the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad that Iran will come to their aid to prevent the IDF’s occupation of the entire Gaza Strip and the overthrow of Hamas’ rule.

Iran will also do everything to torpedo a possible signing of a normalization agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Since October 7, Iran and Yahya Sinwar have brought a new Nakba upon the residents of the Gaza Strip.

Israel is now rejecting all international attempts to force it to recognize a Palestinian state, viewing it as a reward to terrorism and a first step towards the elimination of Israel according to the PLO and Hamas’ theory of stages.

The elimination of the military infrastructure of the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip is a necessary step in thwarting the plan of Iran and Hamas to eliminate Israel.

The Biden administration must not pose difficulties for Israel in achieving this goal.

On the other hand, the leaders of Israel must show determination and stick to achieving the goal.
